Research topics include Whimbrel and Semipalmated Plover; shorebird migration; Scarlet Macaws in Belize; forest dynamics, bird communities and bird species distributions in northwest Belize; impacts of forestry on tropical forest bird communities; spatial interpretation of colonial waterbird nesting sites; regional conservation planning in southeast Massachusetts.
