Dr. Navjot S. Sodhi is currently a Professor of Conservation Ecology at the National University of Singapore. He received his PhD from the University of Saskatchewan. He has been studying the effects of rain forest loss and degradation on Southeast Asian fauna and flora for over 13 years. He has published over 100 scientific papers in international and regional scientific journals. He has written and/or edited several books and monographs on Southeast Asia biodiversity and conservation. He is currently or formerly been an associate editor or editor of several prestigious journals. He has connections to Harvard having been a Bullard Fellow in Forest Research from 2001-2002 and currently as a Hrdy Fellow in Conservation Biology.
